Vote - Week 15 and SC Week 3

There's bad news, good news, and then there's weird news.

I'll give you the bad news first. marlawentmad and xo_kizzy_xo missed the deadline to submit their entries and have been eliminated from the main competition.

The good news is that means they are eligible to join Second Chance.

Which means all we have left is the "weird news".

That WAS a good strategy. But it takes a lot of energy, and this week you would have had to write two stories for the same prompt. :O

Yeah it would have been more feasible if the two deadlines were offset by a few days.. but then again he couldn't have done this. In fact, considering he mentioned it was only an accident that they became synced last week I wonder what the plan would have been if they had stayed unsynced

Oh geez, Gary 😂 I expected a twist, but this is wild. I’m actually traveling and doing a lot right now, but I feel like I have to read everything to vote. So I’ll try to do that. I’m flying out on the 4th to get married days later and I have work to do to pay rent on top of getting the new roommate settled in before I leave.

I thought I might have to miss this deadline, but I managed. Here’s hoping I’ll be able to read everything and vote this week. It’s going to be hectic.

I’m so sorry for marlawentmad and Kizzy. Two people I always enjoyed reading, and Kizzy is a long-time friend of mine too. Here’s hoping you’ll be in SC.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere 😉 I only had one day off this week so I already knew there was no way I was going to be able to make the deadline. Plus we have friends staying over this weekend. I think my next day off isn't until Thursday or Friday, that is, if I end up not being called in.

Me too! I’m also concerned that I have NO actual comments on my post; there’s usually at least a few by now. (The only comment was the Bot letting me know about Karmasoup’s link). Sigh.
