I may be falling on that grenade. We got back recently from visiting our children, and I never seem to be able to write on the road. I have an idea I'm working on, but I just can't seem to get anywhere with it. Too many hours of driving have numbed my brain.

I wrote an entry on my phone last night, after a silly conversation with my boyfriend. It’s definitely not ready - and it’s different than what I usually write. Not sure how voters will respond, but I’ll hopefully tighten it up and post. It’s a bit.... random 😂

But I had fun. That’s what matters. Hopefully others have fun reading it.

I actually type better on my phone, I think. I’ve been doing it since season 6. But I do have small hands, so it makes it a bit easier. I used to have a laptop with keys that were worn out, and had it for years, so for awhile, it was the best alternative for me.

I am most likely going to have to leave second chance. I'm sick and pregnant, and tomorrow I work til 7. Not sure I'll get my brain working in time, plus my laptop is at work where I am not today.

I thought we'd gotten lucky when you came back via Second Chance, but pregnancy can take a toll on its own, and added to sickness and long work hours? Ugh. Do what feels best!

I feel one of those Golden Byes coming on. Still recuperating from being on I-5 all weekend, visiting the kids in Southern California. I blew out my neurons just reading and voting for LAST weeks' main and Second Chance entries (I had to copy them into Word docs, so I could read them during the various drives), and just didn't get enough sleep.

Plus, the prompt isn't inspiring anything I actually want to write, and it occurs to me that I have a BUNCH of tax-related things I need to get on top of pretty soon. Including the medical expenses reimbursement requests for 2019. I haven't submitted _anything_ for last year, and I only have until Tax Day to do that or lose all the money we withheld for it last year. :(
