If you are in the same online group, many of them require/request that you send a f/r to all the other members in the group/ sometimes they just require you to be friends with all the mods
Friending/unfriending on Facebook should be an industry!
I'm not pushy about friending, I don't assume someone wants to be my friend. I generally only unfriend if someone has done something pretty vile, or I really don't know who they are. :-)
You are way more forgiving than I. If I saw someone wrote that they didn't like me I would immediately unburden them of my friendship.
Grant deadline is tomorrow. Everything is more or less ready to go; it's just a matter of tidying and submitting. Phew.
I've never added someone I didn't like on Facebook, but I can't say that I've added a lot of people, period. Especially not lately - don't think I've updated since I got engaged in August.
I'd guess that in your case it's someone who doesn't understand why you don't want to be friends, because THEY have no issue with YOU (they just come off as standoffish and cold to everyone!). People are weird, though, so who knows?
I was going to say it was a 'wanting to look like they are really popular/numbers thing', but are those people still on facebook? I would've thought they would've gone to more currently popular sites like twitter/insta to show of their popularity.
It occurs to me that we're friends on facebook and yet have never interacted on facebook.

I highly doubt that I will friend him again, unless he has had a change of heart, and even then...
