Amending my earlier statement. Scariest part of this week is definitely my neighbor's kids having hand-foot-and-mouth disease. Eeeesh. Stay away from me, sicklies! You are cute but stay thee back, away, away!! (We live in an apartment building, and pass one another sometimes, see each other in the parking lot, etc. It'd be a little easier if we were talking houses, separated by a bit more distance, but alas...)

I'm diving headfirst into the genre known as "Folk Horror" and after the nightmares I suffered last night, I think I need to slow down a bit. LOL. All horror acts on the primitive brain but heathen horror manages to dig even a bit deeper.

I had bad nightmares recently too, and I was also falling asleep noodling on possible idol paths. I’m not sure why I keep wanting to take Feckless to dark places! As fascinating as stress and our brains are, I would have preferred less stress and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I might break the seal on my byes tonight if the day continues as it is currently going.

I’m taking my second bye. End of the month is hard, especially with traveling and the holiday.

Nothing really scary, just sad. My mom went into the hospital yesterday and I’m worried about her. I hate being so far away, and even when I go back home, I’m still too far away to visit or anything. It sucks.

I’m heading back to LA on Wednesday so leaving my boyfriend behind, which is sad too. I always hate the leaving part, can’t wait until I can stay here for good.

Thank you. We got some answers finally - a whole lot of doctors weren’t taking her pain seriously and she’s got blood poisoning and pneumonia. I’m just relieved she’s finally being treated, things should be okay now.
