Happy belated birthday, Gary! I celebrated by reading entries and eating Chinese food for dinner last night. Otherwise it was laundry, dishes, and TV.

Oh, and trying to make waffles using brownie batter, as seen in a FB video, which was an epic fail, lol.

I celebrated by writing all night! For my client, not Idol though. Still behind. This is why I had to take a bye this week.

I finished editing a book about a guy who did a thing that would be SO FREAKING COOL to tell you about if only I were allowed. But it was crazy and awesome!

We finished laying tile this weekend so now it just needs grouting and sealing and it will be ready! At least it will be ready to store all the stuff we put in the basement because that project will be happening next. We took the family Apple picking too, so I’m ready for some apple pie.

The kids are home from school today/tomorrow, so I’m going to start packing for our Halloween cruise. I’m avoiding trying on my formalwear because I’m pretty certain it won’t fit and I’ll need a trip to the outlet mall. (Considering an eshakti dress as an alternative, but I’m afraid it won’t look good).
