My school never had talent shows. I guess the nuns frowned upon it because you were never supposed to be "better" than the kid sitting next to you unless it was academic.

I'm really hoping I make it through this week, though with what real life has on hand for me next week it may be tough getting an entry in, depending on the deadline. I'm flying to Chicago on Wednesday to help my parents move 1500+ miles to Texas... Whee...

Sorry I haven't been able to comment so much, I was enlisted to mind my toddler cousins since Wednesday, I have a new appreciation for the idol/writer moms, I have written with a lap full of matchbox cars and had to go on endless adventures to find snoopy/spiderman/the box of fishy crackers comments post by mistake because one of them jumped in my lap*

Thanks to the person who rec'd my long fic that was the zombies in San Francisco that I wrote in my head while working as a barista there and I finally had a reason to write down that kept me in the game in the first weeks

It's been a crazy couple of months that as much as I want to promote my work, it's been hard because there's so many other things going on that I'm juggling.
