[Eventually, she would find him in some back alley, bruised and beaten and possibly worse. Ganon's men don't take kindly to one of their own being attacked and their shipment discovered. They take even less kindly than Mewtwo had--dammit, his brain still felt scrambled from that--to him healing said target, even if it was at the request of a friend in the same gang.

No, after having his mind scrambled in a way that managed to make his persona scream he'd been sent out on the streets to make a delivery of his own, only to be cornered by several thugs. With his mind not where it should be, he'd been an easy target for them.

Minato doesn't remember much of the incident. All he knows now is his hair hurts and his limbs are cold and oh God, who will look after Aigis if he dies here? There's so much blood around, it's all he can focus on even as he shifts to the side and accidentally tips over a trash can, causing quite the ruckus in the alley he had just been unconscious in.]

[But how can he say there isn't someplace safe to talk? Not with what just happened and--is Aigis untying her ribbon? Wiping his face with it?

When they get the chance he's using what little savings he has to get that cleaned at the best place in the city. Aigis deserves that much for doing this.]

Help me up, then? We can't go back to the Center right now. It's too dangerous. [Both for them, the Pokemon, and the other displaced people staying there. He might be healed, but he's still weak. He knows this.]

Are you able to walk? [Aigis' expression says what she can't vocalize: You're injured. I found you dying. She's worried about him, and who could blame her?]

I won't know until I try. [He says this with a half-smile. Don't worry. I'll be fine. Except he remembers what they just talked about in regards to him asking for help....]

If I can't, you can carry me? [What is this sense of dread and impending doom? Well, apparently he has some pride left after that beatdown because the thought of Aigis having to carry him is making it rise up inside him like an angry cat and hiss venomously.]

Of course. [She smiles, a little relieved that there's an alternative to him pushing himself to death. She very gently moves away from him to get herself into a crouching position, and holds a hand out to him. Having him rely on her... it made her feel warm, despite the fact that he was injured. She liked to at least be aware that Minato needed her for something.]

[In the year at Gekkoukan, and even after in this place, he's learned to rely on others and that it was okay to accept help. He also knows Aigis well enough that, unless he gave an alternative, she would spend the rest of the night fretting more than he would feel was necessary.

Except it might turn out he needs that help because as soon as he gets to his feet, he stumbles, still weak from the blood loss, and winds up having to lean against Aigis just to stand.

If he were a girl, he would be blushing profusely right now.]

I guess I don't have the energy to walk.

[She puts an arm around his shoulders to steady him.]

I can carry you... Will you be all right riding on my back?

[Aigis smiles a little, only trying to be some sort of calming before kneeling down slowly to allow him on.] Should you feel uncomfortable, please let me know,

Don't worry. I will. [Once it gets too uncomfortable. Being carried at all is degrading. Not manning up and telling her to stop is even moreso.]

Where will we go? [Aigis knew little of dealings, but that didn't mean she didn't take the time to know the city inside and out. wherever they were going, she knew a quicker way.]

The motel near the Castle. What's it called? "Dancing Din"? It should be safe for the night.

All right. I believe I have the money for a night's stay as well. [aigis thinks these practical things through]

[He nods.] We can figure out if it's safe to go back to the Center tomorrow.
