New problem: If I don't want to go to Grinnell or Penn State, which are cheaper, I need to work this summer, and I have until Wednesday to accept my job offer, so I basically have to decide by then. What should I do??!!

I don't know about that, because I have a friend at Penn State (and a guy in my class headed to Penn State - Ben Green, you might remember him) who absolutely love the school. Ben likes it because he's into meteorology, but my other friend, who's a junior there, loves the school - he says their science programs are excellent (as is their ice cream - apparently, it's the best in the country? haha), and it's a great school.

I admit, he may be biased in his opinion, but there are two sides to every coin, so I wouldn't dismiss Penn State. Not that this helps with the decisiveness, I suppose. Sorry =/

i'd say accept the offer- you could always quit later. unless its, like, one where you can't. then you might be screwed

college is a bigger deal than any summer job. it's always best to leave your options open, so i'd say take the job offer.
