Drying Hairs

I have long, thick hair. Is there any way to speed up how it dries without using a blowdryer?

Also, can you recommend a good shampoo for a guy who has coarse, curly hair?

twist it up in a towel...buy one of those dryer bags that you just sit with on your head. they're cool.
sexy hair concepts pumpkin line....it's amazing and you'll want to eat his hair.

I brush mine out completely before I get out of the shower. It helps get more excessive water out. Then I squeeze it out and wrap it in a towel. That's really the only thing I can say, short of getting it thinned, which helped considerably.

i like the divacurl line. i'm not sure if he'll use a shampoo with that name though. it's only sold at places like Ulta. he just needs something with a lot of moisture in it. that will make the curls really look healthy and curl up nicely. loooooooots of conditioner. a thick one. not that watery crap

When I had long hair, I washed it at night, left it wrapped in a towel for about 15 minutes to soak up excess water, and then slept on it wet. By the time I woke up it was mostly dry. (Which was fine with me, and at that point, if I'd ever needed it to be totally dry, I could finish it off with a blow-dryer, although I never bothered.)
