I'm a freaking college graduate and consider myself pretty kitchen-savvy, but for some reason, this spice mill will not grind my fucking pepper.

What am I doing wrong? Did I buy the wrong thing?

Nevermind. I'll get myself a proper grinder.

Actually, if you just loosen the top, it'll probably work fine. Most pepper grinders don't work well if the top is too tight.
