Upon watching your breaking news story about New Jersey Governor James McGreevey's resignation, I became extremely angry with your news program. After Governor McGreevey gave his resignation speech, Renee Chenault-Fattah, anchorperson for NBC10 gave a recap of McGreevey's speech. I was watching(several) other channels at the time and didn't catch that one. Good call. We live in such a messed up society. McGreevey did not resign "because he was gay", and thank goodness some people out there noticed that too.

the media loves to distort the truth, it was from a man who wanted to blackmail the governor for their affair, but instead they say it was because he was gay.

As if sexual orientation is grounds for resignation, not likely

I was wondering that too. Like if there was some old New jersey lasw still on the books (like the one that says you can't slurp soup in public) that the governor must be heterosexual or something. I'm still confused as to why he did resign though.
