grandpa went home today. he was staying with us for about 2 1/2 weeks. he's doing well.

still looking for a job.

i don't trust agencies. should i?

bleh. i only keep this thing so i can read what's going on in everyone's lives.

yeah, i hate agencies, too. i've been sending resumes out on careerbuilder.com and monster.com since may, but no luck. everyone is looking for someone with experience, which i don't really have. the only interview i've had was for a job i didn't even apply for, with a guy who found me on monster.com. since then, i've made my resume private on those sites because all i've had was stupid agencies calling me. my dad's friend has a friend who works for an agency in nyc. i finally called her after stalling for 3 weeks and will probably go in to meet her next week. i'm getting desperate now. hopefully it will work out.
