i never really thought of their alliance as a good thing...but you've convinced me otherwise.

btw, what are your thoughts on chavez ruling by decree now?

I'm down for it. Anything he passes can be annulled by congres, and brought to a vote through a petition of 5% of voters. If they don't like the way he's doing things, they have a way to stop it. When Chavez won 62% of the vote last election, I think it was pretty clear that people want these changes as quickly as possible.
