Republic of Tea is fast becoming one of my Very Favorite Things. (Not least because it gets me through three hours of class every day at the buttcrack of dawn). But also

Thank you! I've had such a self-indulgent preliminary Twelve Days of Birthday, that I almost feel I do not deserve the real thing. ;o9
Are you a Leo, as well? I've never much fit the profile. Once on a plane, a nice lady wanted to talk to me about our signs, and when I explained what I'm like as a person, she became a little troubled and said, 'Oh, well then you *should* have been born a Cancer.'
My birthday is Friday. I'm pretty sure I was 'supposed' to be a Cancer, but failed to come out in time. It's all a bit silly, really, and nothing more so than people who take it that seriously.
For the record, I see nothing wrong with making chocolate and spiced cider in teapots, too! (In fact, I've been known to do it sometimes).
When I was little, I used to put chocolate milk into my dad's mugs and pretend it was coffee. Because they always had coffee on Lois and Clark, and it made me feel important and cool.
You're on google! Cool!! I love your review of teas. I have to confess i was doing a little potting around and tea-sleuthing before your birthday... I managed to find a TON of things I wanted to buy you, but in no way could afford. Your actual present is forthcoming.. Anyway, I developed such a hankering for tea. Right now all I have at work is Tazo tea. I've been sucking down the Chai (works great with the vanilla caramel coffee creamer I have here). But your teas sound so great. I guess I may have to go online and try some out. Do you have to have a tea strainer in order to brew those? I am a teanovice i suppose. a teatoddler? I've only ever done the british strong black tea with milk thing.

I *want* to like tea, but I just don't. but I feel my insane love for cocoa makes up for my hatred of both tea and coffee.
I cannot give you birthday greeting for another hour and a half. le sigh.
