No man is an island. I'm a firm believer that if you're going through something in life, someone else in another place is feeling the same thing. It's tried and tested truth. We think our problems are unique and larger than life but in reality, we're under the same sky, as significant as the stars. We're not alone in our trials and temptations. We ( Read more... )

I agree with your first paragraph. A lot of people wait for the big things in life to bring them happiness and overlook the small things.

Heard of Zettai Kareshi, but I've neither seen nor read it, because I'm not a fan of Watase Yuu's works. ^^;

On a sidenote, do you know Eureka 7? Don't kill me, but Atobe in your banner reminds me of Holland xD >>;

And yes I love Eureka 7. Now that you mentioned it, yeah he does kind of remind me of Holland. Must be the hair and the skin tone ne?

In a good and in a bad way xD

LOL shoujo... Can never decide whether to love it or hate it xD

Yup, that's it. I loved Eureka 7, except for the last episode, which was too colorful and cheesy and -gag reflex- xD But Dominique/Anemone made me such a happy fangirl |D *fails*

Unfortunately, there's always a flip side to things D:

I'll never be able to admit that I actually like shoujo stuff once in a while, they make me want to believe in the goodness of mankind. Cliche but ;DDDDD

Yes Dominique and Anemone FTW really. Why is it that I never really fall for the lead chars? The side chars are always so much more *______* ne? I loved Holland.

I never knew it had an anime but I know it was derived from a shoujo manga and that it's got a drama which I quite like no matter what everyone says about it ;D

Gomen, missed you again ne?

I am a big fan of being a useless sap. *___* It gets us through when we need to just ride the tide.

And, oh god, have you asked Jamesie's opinion on Hana Kimi? If you haven't you totally should. She's so adorable. <3

I KNOW RIGHT OMGFINALLYSOMEONELIKEME ;DD Sap makes you want to believe in the good of humanity, that we can if we work hard.

Nope. Come to think of it, Jamesie ain't on my flist. What about Hana Kimi? I thought it was stupid but OMGSOCUTECAN?

YESYES. :D EXACTLY. Sap is basically like all the shoulds in the world, and it's so pretteh while it lasts.

She wasn't on mine either until a week ago because we both fail. lol And Hana Kimi is stupid, in a way, but I think the cute and some of the heartwarming moments outrule the stupid. *__* And, well, JUST ASK JAMESIE. I bet she can explain it far better than I can because when I watched Hana Kimi, I was using it as brain softener. I think she actually watched it for content. ;D

Shoulds... Hm. More like the if onlys?

Content wise um... LOL? I can only see homosexuality as a moral issue there but beyond that, Natsuka was just utter pure crack ;D Made me so happy for awhile.
