Haha I worked in the Navy Yards, not so bad anymore! And rats are a problem most places in DC, particularly the water... am I getting too defensive? But let's just say the shootings just outside the Yards were a bigger problem ;) And the mammoth-sized roaches...

Good job with this, I actually read it all the way through without getting a little offended- I've spent some time working around refugee camps in the Middle East and I had to stop watching the show because I thought it ignored the humanitarian situation on the ground. But you make it pretty clear that Ziva only sees through the security lens, so she wouldn't notice the stuff that was going on around her except as it pertained to the security of her people. That makes a lot of sense.
