You're under the impression that a single broadcast channel proclaiming the mundane abnormality of imports to a populace considering themselves similarly banal will negate the antagonistic feelings held towards otherworldly individuals almost since they started arriving here?

May I present as counter-evidence towards such effects the Food Network? Its gastronomic diversity is extraordinary. Yet it hasn't stopped the proliferation of monotonously colored and flavored, factory-produced drivel, whose only selling point is its speedy rate of delivery.

I have no doubt you have, but not necessarily in the area of the effectiveness of televised propaganda.
What you do is run a state, one which I assume has seen growth in numbers of imported citizens recently. This is a scheme which you hope will placate them.
I can tell you right now that while distraction due to redirected creative energies will briefly do so, neither your stated nor your implied goals will be ultimately fulfilled.

You're entirely welcome to your opinion but I've been doing this a long time. I know my people. They want to know that imports are, in general, much like themselves. They want to see them in a non-threatening manner. This will show them that the import community is not so different.

You won't reach the irrationally biased and the violently inclined, those who have been causing most of the trouble. Without their unachievable vote of confidence, the status quo will be altered very little. The strong will always be heard over the meek.
