It depends. Perhaps once I know the cause. If it's simply something random, like, oh the universe thought it'd be a spectacular joke for people to suddenly be able to read each others' thoughts, then probably not. If someone specific is behind the joke, then perhaps.

I'm afraid not. I don't know the extent of this telepathic problem as of yet. You could try some meditation techniques designed to quiet your mind. Find your, for lack of a better phrase, 'happy place'; a place that comforts you, quiets you, and makes you generally feel at ease. Then, envision yourself building a wall around that place. That place represents 'you'. The wall, shielding.

It sounds silly, I know, but it's the basics of developing telepathic shielding, and yes, even non-psis are capable of that. All of the original X-Men were capable of some psi-resistance.
