l'm writing this short story for class, and aside from the fact that l wish l'd set it in a zombie-apocalypse setting as was the original plan, l'm starting to feel like lzzy's behaviour is a complete assault on her character. l tend to get very annoyed when female leads have break downs and can only make it through with the help of their male

If the story doesn't feel right, why not re-write it the way you orriginaly intended it to be?
