Not long ago, someone suggested Warner video should hire me. Well, the idea is not so farfetched! So, I thought I could make my ( Read more... )

Those are very nice. Amazing, actually. Very clever.
Plus, they're cuter than most of the real TVD sets I own (and I own over 200.)

By TVD you mean TV shows DVDs, right? Mass production has to cut corners, and you make your own you can fill it with extras if you like, and, obviously, make thea rt you prefer.

Yeah, I spend so much time talking about TV DVDs, I had to come up with some sort of abbreviation.

I wish I could make my own, but I don't have enough time.

The trick is managing well the time we have. Now it wouldn't take me long to make new CDs, but it took me a consdierable time to learn how to make them. But I don't consider this time wasted, because this is a skill I can use for other things, including my work.

i thought about it, because i don't like the S1 packaging. i saw an alternate cover that looked like a piehole menu but it cost more. i figured the DVD cover would be the show title in dandelions, not weird heads...

these are really cute! i like how you have the different S1/S2 piehole exteriors on the top of the box.

Exactly, and I have a few other versions of the first season box. For the first season I used Season 1 promo and episode pics. For the box of season 2, pics from season 2. This is why the Pie Hole changed.

And I kept the same standard: front and back: cast pictures, sides: Ned and Chuck, top: The Pie Hole, bottom: anything that fit.

The fundamental difference is that in the first season, I used generic promo pictures for the CD case labels. And for the season 2 CDs, I used screencaps for the CD cases, because I found out their defintion turned out to be good enough.
