Final episodes (Season 2) to be shown in early March on German TV.

I received confirmation, that German television's Pro7 is planning to show the last episodes of season 2 in the next couple of weeks.

On Feb. 11th Dim Sum Loose Some will be shown as a singular episode. The forthcoming episodes will be shown as twinpacks (Oh Oh Oh... It's Magic & Robbing Hood, Comfort Food & The Legend of MMQ, The Norwegians &

yesterday they aired "frescorts" on prosieben...i just love pd so much. i am so looking forward to see the whole season including the final episodes...i hope it is true and we here in germany can see them in march...but i feel so sorry for all you pd fans in america it is like a slap in your faces...i do not understand how abc can be that cruel?! abc just sucks.

Is the German dub any good? I didn't dare tuning in so far, but that is tempting.

Well, it's not as bad as other stuff. Ned voice is a bit higher than Lee's. All the other voices are pretty the same, as they are in the Original.
I miss the sothern accent of Olive's (you couldn't translate it into the dub), but I prefer the less "typical" pronounciation of Emerson.

Of course it's not as good as the original - how could it?! - but it's not bad, and if there's no original version out yet, I prefer German to none.

The German version at least makes waiting til the DVD or other English versions are out, more bearable.

Yeah, the waffle guy! Well, that will work if in the German version the actors speak English with a German accent (like in the 1960s WWII series Hogan's Heroes) instead of real German, because that's how the Waffle Guy spoke!

Or perhaps, I could get one of Chuck's foreign language tapes to study the new language. It wouldn't be the first time for me, although I never got to learn a language in a few weeks...

Ah yes, the mocked German accent is either ignored in the German dub or Austrian, Bayuvarian or Swiss sccent is used.
I'm pretty sure, they'll use a Bayuvarian accent, because I remember the Waffle Guy wearing typical southern German/western Austrian traditional dressing.
But of course I'll keep an ear out, and tell you after the ep is shown.

HOW DID THIS GO SO FAST. I never have the nerve to sit through twinpacks on my own, so ... I sense a lot of recording and a magnificent sextupletpack sleepover party coming up.

In Austrian television ORF (there's also the German dub) it is possible to have the original option to choose (Deseperate Housewives, Grey's Atanomy, ... are all enjoyable in the original), but PD was never shown there.
I'm pretty sure, it's not possible in German TV. Please do post, if you have seen an option!

You have an excellent point. In my TV set it's called the "SAP" key (Second Audio Program).

However, for that to work, the TV station has to make both audio channels available. Some stations do, others don't bother to.
