full-season order to be announced tomorrow?

After the season premiere, the “Pushing Daisies” makers find out on October 2 if they’ll get a full season (they had a 13-episode order to start). They certainly hope so, Fuller said: “We want seconds on our pie.”

this was in the MTV blog post earlier but nobody read that far, i guess!

Over at ABC, the second season-premiere of long awaited Pushing Daisies was left at the starting gate, with a mere (and fourth-place) 4.3/ 7 in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. One year earlier, Pushing Daisies launched with a considerably heftier 9.0/15 (on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007). And to make matters worse, Pushing Daisies dipped by 15 percent in the second half-hour (4.7/ 8 to 4.0/ 6). It’s the Arrested Development of dramas!
