I think we'd wait a year for PD.

At least there will be season 2, I was really worried it might not come back at all.

I'm for one willing to wait... as long as we *get* a season 2!

Echoing the people above - a little disappointed, but still really happy it's coming back eventually.

Considering how incredibly detailed this show is, in pretty much every aspect, I'm not surprised. If production started up again, I don't think they could get very many episodes completed by May-ish when the regular season normally ends anyway.

Crime procedurals, for example, could kick out a decent amount of episodes for this season if the strike ended tomorrow, because there is not the same emphasis on narrative arcs for them, the episodes can also stand alone, two episodes can be shot at the same time, etc. (And don't get me wrong, I love me some CSI, but the standards and demand for quality are just not there like the format of PD requires from its crew.) I really can't see the Pushing Daisies crew pulling episodes out of their ass like that, and having a strange hiccup of a few errant new episodes in the spring might hurt the fanbase in the long run anyway.
