the terms of the duel had been established, winner would take all. a bystander would give the official count, hair flipping of any kind was grounds for immediate disqualification, and there would be no seconds. it was past the usual time and place for this sort of thing (high noon on a dusty prairie in middle america), but the prize to be won was of such magnitude that rose was willing to let go of such romantic notions.

her fingers twitched towards her waist at the count of one, lingering just above her holster. her opponent did the same. at two she grinned lazily, finger wiggling carelessly in the air. her opponent swallowed nervously. when three was called out, the official's voice ringing throughout the street loud and clear, it was rose who was left victorious as the dust settled. her cell phone raised high above her head, retrieved from her back pocket in .03 seconds.

with the opponent, cute man's, cell number affectionately stored in her contact list as "gunslinger" and the ball in her court of if and when to contact him, ( ... )

Soojung snapped the picture just as Rose finished posing, but she didn't even sense the girl behind her. In fact, she probably wouldn't have noticed if she didn't bring the picture up immediately after taking it to make sure her face was presentable. As soon as she saw Rose in the picture, she whipped around and stared at the girl who had absolutely photobombed the picture but still managed to look better than Soojung, who was posing. Not fair x 2. Combo.

"Uhhh...?" Soojung's eloquence was astounding. "Hello?" That was a bit better, even if she still sounded as absolutely dumbfounded as before. Did she go to the university and Soojung just didn't recognize her? A friend of the family? A random stranger on the street who loved to mess up pictures? She really hoped it wasn't the last one, but something told her it was.

with the deed done and the photo snapped all that was left was to make a speedy and stealthy exit. which predictably did not happen.

" 'ello," rose greets cheerfully. if she had a modicum of shame she would apologize to the girl and walk away now. however, shame is not a word readily used in rose's vocabulary. and besides it's not like the other girl is upset, at least not outwardly so. so she pushes her luck just a bit further by leaning over the younger girl's shoulder and pointing at the photo. "it came out pretty good, nae?"

Honestly, she was surprised that the woman hadn't just turned on her heel and walked off the moment she noticed her in the picture. It was a good picture though, Soojung had to give her that. Still, should she be promoting this behavior? Soon, she'd be in all selfies across Hong Kong and then she might go and attack the rest of the world.

"It did...somehow. You look better than I do." She couldn't help but point that out, just to add to the ridiculousness of the situation, though it didn't need much adding to. "Do you do this often? Photobomb unsuspecting people? Should I be worried?"
