I just had to let everyone know that I got the job as the Multimedia Support Technician at Western School District. That means a little bit of a commute, but in all honesty, with this job I look forward to it! I'm sure I'll have days that aren't great, but I'm SO looking forward to it! you got it. Familiar territory? I'll be working for Chad Cole, and alongside of Chris Barnes. Should be sweet. And yes, I'll be working in your home town. ;) Crazy, eh? Once I know my schedule more you should give me a call and maybe we'll hit up lunch or something.

thanks man!

And like I told Joel, when I know my schedule better we gotta hang out before you head out to L.A. (that way I can claim we were close friends when you make it big and I can ride your coattails to fame)....

My secret: I was at FedEx/Kinko's getting some mousepads printed (long story) and while I was waiting they had a bunch of business books at the checkout and 101 Answers to the Tougest Interview Questions was sitting there so I perused through it and it's really helpful. But more helpful than anything was getting Chandra to verbally ask me those questions, because it's one thing to answer them mentally and be prepared, but it's a whole other world to actually put the words into a sentence and still remain coherent in thought. It was only $11 and as frequently as you and I get to see each other it might do you better to run to a FedEx/Kinko's near you (it's a Kinko's with FedEx capabilities if you weren't aware...some people think I'm referring to two stores, it's one).
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the info..
I'm sure they have similar books at barnes and noble or something.
But I actually went to the career services office at CMU today, and she hooked me up with about 35-40 of those regularly asked interviews, and I found out that I can shedule mock interviews and them videotape them for you.
so even though it may be embarasing to watch myself, I think it will be really helpful.
I totally agree though about saying it outloud. I'm a communication major, so when I am preparing for a speech, if I say it outloud I do 100% better than i do if I just think about it and think I am prepared.
lol. I've blabbered enough.
to make a long story short, if this job doesn't work out for you, you should be a career services advisor because you have the same information. haha.
take it easy. talk to ya later,
thanks again,
Leah P.
