Sorry, Andy. That sucks. If it's any consolation I'm a lab assistant and am going crazy because I don't know anything about how anything is hooked up.

I also don't know what to do when people ask to be shown how to edit, I need like a checklist, hehe.

Remind Dorie that you've never TAUGHT other people how to edit and that if you had a checklist of itemized learning procedures that'd be extremely helpful.

I can help a bit with these:
1) Turn on computer (sadly, I'm serious).
2) Open Media 100/Final Cut
3) Capture footage (while saving continuously)
4) Explain the interface (bin/timeline/monitor)
5) Drop clips from bin into timeline

Stuff like that...just instead of ACTUALLY editing something yourself, do a mock version of what you would do.

actually, she's probably not bipolar. people who suffer from bipolar disorder have long periods of ups and downs, like months of ups, months of downs.

she's probably a sociopath. that would better explain her mood swings.
