1. You're assuming morality comes from God? Re:"reciprocative altruist" - it is not unthinkable to be one, if the selfishness now resides in the recesses of our subconscious while altruism surfaces. Our instinct is to behave nicely w/o realising we expect sth in return.
2. Why should rational thought be obstructed by faith? When people allow themselves to be led by faith to become irrational, it is nearly impossible to have discourse b/c it's simply not going to be rational.
3. Your question is indeed rhetorical. Atheists don't say that this complexity of a world emerged by SHEER (sorry for caps; would've preferred italics) chance; it happened through a long-drawn evolutionary process. I think billions of years is a fair number to build up this complexity. Science doesn't have all the answers but it certainly works toward them. What's wrong with the Big Bang Theory?
