[He looks up. Well, that doesn't look like a very short distance upward, does it?]

...On second thought, maybe I need a ladder.

[An amused huff.] What are you going to do, fly me out of here?

If you insist~ I'll be seeing you soon then. [ yes he did just hop off of his balcony before flicking the SFC off. jeez Waka.

give him a few minutes until he's peering down at that rubble, trying to kick some rocks away for a big enough opening for him to get through. morning waka-rescue time. in the mean time he'll turn on the SFC again. ]

[Yomiel looks up, trying to spot some light. Man, that did look like a lot of rubble.]

I was looking through the church's remains when the ground caved in. I think the explosion made it weak.

[ he might see a crack or two as Waka manages to clear some debris. ]

Find anything interesting besides some damage? [ a chuckle. ]

Just the fact that it smells and feels a lot more like the sea down here than up there. Something keeps splashing back here, I'm not sure what it is...

Nope. I can't even feel it. It must be somewhere near here, which is why I can hear it.

Well that's good, I don't have to worry about you drowning down there! I can take my time. [ hee. only he's still moving as fast as he was before - a big crack of light shows now from up above. ]
