I retch, I shake, I cry until I break

Yesterday and this morning, I've been sicker than any time in at least the past seven years, maybe ever. I'll spare writing out the details. I appreciate the attention and good wishes - but how can people offer suggestions for remedies if I haven't even said what the problem is?

Oh, poor dear! :( Wish I could do something for you. Probably the best thing is to stay in bed and rest (side benefit: it's difficult to feel nauseous when you're asleep). Tomorrow will be here before you know it.

This may be a little gross, but I used to get motion sickness a lot, so I always traveled (car, airplane) with a supply of ziplock bags. They don't really take up any space--you can stash them anywhere--and it's the sort of thing you feel a little silly and 'jinx'-y about bringing but don't want to not have and wish you did.

Thank you! I'm probably just going to take the train, though - I live very near the MAX line.
