You can tell it's Pike because he cannot change his pants from the ones that go with his original action figure outfit. Apparently real men only need one set of clothes :D

Also HER BOOTS where did you get them?

I almost did change them but getting his feet on and off is so much troublllllle. I have some that should fit too!

They are very preeeeetty. Also you never did post about experiments in RIT dye which continues to befuddle me (she is a brunette yey!) and, um.

(I need to paint my #1's nails again but it involves digging the paint out of the closet and mixing up a shade that is both blue enough and sparkly enough with the shimmer medium. Am v. sad cannot use actual blue nail polish because of plastic-staining deterioration of woe.)

Also your Pike takes being tackled v. well.

They areeee I just about died when I found them. I did not, I tried to take pictures as I did it and with the gloves and the dye and the heat it was too much to manage. It worked well for the most part, I used a paintbrush to get the roots but they aren't as dark as the rest. Most of it is proper black with it getting steadily redder towards her roots (...I may have photoshopped them out a little in some pics even) because the ends soaked in the dye longer. Working on fixing that. Things I learned: dye must be HOT. I boiled water but mixed the dye in a disposable container to contain the mess which worked rather well. Also:Vaseline to protect face and Benzoyl Peroxide acne cream and then setting in the sun will get rid of stains.

(upside of being an artist: there is always paint sitting out. I skipped sparkly tho because I don't have sparkle paints)

He does seem to enjoy it.
