In the past few days I have been suddenly aware/reminded of a few upcoming things I'm kind of interested in. I'm wondering what anyone else is thinking of these, if anything.

I'm pretty certain Game of Thrones will be really good, my hesitance stems from the fact that I'm not always great at ~SRS DRAMATIC SHOWS~ unless I get really invested in the characters pretty early on. I'm really hoping I get into it though, because it sounds like it could be brilliant.

Haha, becuase I had no idea it existed? Also, it sounds slightly ridiculous. xD It does have Lauren Cohan in its favour, though. I might check it out. I fear it may be too religion-y for my tastes, but it may work for the lols.

I REALLY REALLY WANT WONDER WOMAN TO BE GOOD. I am not expecting it to be because what I have heard about the initial pilot script was dire, but oh so many fingers are crossed.

On the more optimistic side of things, shit yeah am I excited for Brave.

ME TOOOO. I'm not expecting it, but by god I will be determindly watching at least the first three episodes before I entirely run out of hope! PLEASE BE GOOD, SHOW. SUPERHEROES! BADASSES BLESSED BY THE GREEK GODS! IT COULD BE SO GOOD.

Brave is pretty much the only 100% gaurenteed win on this list for me. Do you want to go see it with me? (FUCK YEAH, MAKING CINEMA PLANS OVER A YEAR IN ADVANCE.)

I was going to say I'd come down to Fal if I had to, but of course I won't have to, because this meeting is happening in THE FUTURE. Wacky. Anyway, I am sure that as well as overcoming any possible emotional barriers preventing us from seeing it together, we can also over come any geographical ones. *determined pose*

I AM NERVOUS ABOUT WONDER WOMAN :( I really want it to be amazing, because Adrianne Palicki is adorable, but nothing I have heard sounds very good. I'm really glad they changed the outfit, at least, lol.

I'm willing to give Game of Thrones a shot! I read the first book when I was 14 and thought it was all right, but I think I'll give it another go before the show airs, whenever that is.

Yeah. I'm not actually expecting it to be good so much as crossing everything. The fact they listened to some of the criticism potentially bodes well? Maybe? *hopes*

Usually I'm the type of person who likes to read the book first, but I don't think I'm determined enough with Game of Thrones. If I really like the show I may pick up the books after, though.

Siiiigh, I hope they do! I don't want poor Adrianne Palicki to fail, and I would like to see some shows about ladies in comics--if they're well-written and not all about secretly applying makeup or whatever, lol. We shall see! I will probably wait for the go-ahead from you and Tree before actually watching, lol.
