There's another guy who gets on at the same stop every morning. He looks about seventeen, but he dresses in a pinstriped suit and reads a copy of the Daily Telegraph on the bus every day.

Really though, if there was any good reason to be a boy, wearing pinstriped suits would be it.

ALSO I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SLASHES RANDOM STRANGERS. IT'S A CURSE.

Oh man. I only live within easy travelling distance of Tree over the summer, and then after that she will be off to her distant Uni again. And I will have to adjust to life without IRL fangirling every few weeks again. WOE! WHY CAN'T THERE BE IRL FANGIRLING EVERYWHERE ALL OF THE TIME? :(

I really need to track down some more fangirls who live near-ish me and then trick them into thinking I'm cool. >__>

IT WAS PRETTY GREAT. xD My poor brother. He cannot help but get caught in my crazy ways! (I have said a couple of times while we were discussing it that I was thinking of making an LJ post about it, and his reaction has been pretty much "YES, YES, YOU TOTALLY SHOULD. DO EEET." I am yet to tell him that the emotion he is experiencing there is the shipper's innate drive to evangelise and spread word of their OTP where ever there may be willing ears. BUT THAT IS TOTALLY WHAT IT IS.)

Oh, I'm certainly liking the female characters so far! I've nothing really that I want to complain about on that front, I don't think the writer's resorting to two dimensional stereotyping, and there's a nice range of different personalities who are all give roles to play, so that's cool. Author can clearly construct himself a female character. It's more some of the thematic stuff which is making me a little wary. I'm going to let the story finish before I pass any judgements on the underlying messages, though.

One time I made up this epic story about an older woman who was giving art lessons to a younger man and their FORBIDDEN LOVE~ but I like your epic story much better. Emo!kid needs to SHAPE UP and realize love is more important than silly haircuts and black jelly bracelets, clearly!

I went in late the other day, but my brother reported to me that pinstriped!boy had switched from the Daily Telegraph to the Guardian, and (while I was still making surprised noises) informed me of his theory that pinstriped!boy had switched to a less conservative newspaper in order to better relate to emo!kid.

So you are quite right! IF PINSTRIPED!BOY CAN CHANGE HIS NEWSPAPER FOR YOU, I THINK YOU SHOULD AT LEAST MAKE SOME ATTEMPT AT COMPROMISE HERE, EMO!KID.
