I get that. I used to never watch non-streaming vids because downloading just to watch and delete seemed like too much hassle. (Ahaha, in the days BEFORE I used to collect vids obsessively. *eyes her 18 GB vid folder*)

I think this one is worth it, but it probably depends some on how much of a vid person you are.

Ha, yes, my hoarding is a wee bit crazy. I have ~500 vids saved. And just looking at that number reminds me of a time when I saw someone freaking out over their external hard drive maybe breaking, because they had 300 vids on there that they'd find hard to recollect, and I boggled at the number all "HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY HAVE THAT MANY VIDS???". I guess I figured out the answer to that, somewhere along the line. xD

I think it's partly that I am much more multi-fannish for vids than for fic. Characters have to particularly call to me for me to seek out fic about them, but I'll watch a well edited vid about practically any source I've watched (and occasionally shows I haven't watched, too).

Luminosity is sockkpuppett on LJ. She's definitely up there as one of the vidders I admire. Ha, now I've gone and rewatched Two Step it's thrown me into an old school SPN vid mood. Have you seen Blind by exsequar? I love that one. I should really dig through my vid collection and do some season one vid rewatching. Nostalgia!
