LMAO yes. I ALWAYS hear stalker-y lyrics in songs! Then once I've heard them, I can never completely take the song seriously again. I thought Goodnight and Go was really sweet and romantic until I realised she follows the guy (or girl...) home and watches them through the window! Well, that's what I got from it anyway...

I think Goodnight and Go is supposed to be a little WTF? though. It's more of a problem with songs that aren't supposed to be, I think. I told a friend of mine about how I kept interpreting Jimmy Eat World's song Night Drive as about date rape, and a few days later she came back and was like "YOU HAVE RUINED THIS SONG FOR ME. D:"

I haven't heard Night Drive, but I swear Baby, It's Cold Outside WAS actually written about date rape. And it's supposed to be a Christmas song! D:

There's something weirdly funny about stalking. I had this friend who I always used to joke with about it. We'd be like "oh, yeah, last night when I was standing on a tree branch outside your bedroom window...' LMAO. No idea why!

There's also the funniest quote from an article I read in Glamour a while back. This girl was being stalked and apparently woke up one morning to find the stalker hanging upside down like a bat in front of her window! I MEAN. WHAT.

Stalking jokes are awesome! SADLY, I LIVE TO FAR AWAY TO ACTUALLY STALK HALF THE PEOPLE I SAY I STALK. :(
