I am too tired to talk about my thoughts on the episode, for the most part we agree, but femmenerd told me that sevenfists did a dean&kitten fic once and I always get so excited about it when I'm driving or in bed. So I went and read that fic (assuming sevenfist hasn't written two fics on the subject), because I cannot resist the lure of Dean and kittens, and it was awesome, but... well, you'll see. It has only made my desire for Dean + cute fuzzy animals stronger. *hands* I need fluffy fic!

The thing is, I find Sam putting Dean on a metaphorical leash almost as hot as I find Sam putting Dean on a real leash. If not more so, depending on how it's written. I'm just a total slut for that power dynamic with those two (as is totally obvious to anyone who's known me five seconds ;D).

I kind of love how they keep (accidentally?) slashing Dean with demons. I mean there was the Dean/lust kiss, when according to wikipedia the book Bobby referenced identifies lust as male, and now they're going around implying that soul owning maybe has a sexual side of some sort, when we know the demon that owns Dean's contract is a guy. I do kinda wonder if maybe I wasn't supposed to infer "Dean selling his soul make him a whore" from "witches selling their souls makes them whores", but the only real reason I can see not to infer that comes down to some of Supernatural's attitudes toward gender, ( ... )
