[The problem with being a detective of Shinichi's level was that he got bored very easily.  And was very bad at entertaining himself.  With no cases to solve and no books to read he had eventually resorted to reciting the complete works of Sherlock Holmes.  Aloud.  Over the communicator.  Listen or try to make him stop for everyone's sanity.]

I have some theories on the situation. No proof of course, but the circumstantial evidence would seem to support it.
