it's official! i'm going to america! it's all paid up! i'm now broke!
my itinery is fluid, but looks something like christmas in new york, newyears in boston, then a week in florida keys, a week in new orleans (flood damage is pretty, right?) and a week in san fransisco. i might actually be there for the inauguration. yay! history being made!

Oh, fabulous! I am so envious. My bro is in NY at the moment but he's due back before Christmas. I was there in 2006 - loved Boston, NY, Providence - but haven't been to San Fran. I plan to go in 2009 or 2010 though. And to shoot up to Canada too.

Yeah, bummer about the exchange rate. My brother has been there since July and he said, "it's like I lost $4000 I never had."
