Hipster Who!

Jun 30, 2010 01:22

I really really loved this whole season of Doctor Who. I found it the most enjoyable since Christopher Eccleston. Which is odd, because I thought I rather liked David Tennant.

That was the best finale I have ever seen. It was epic, silly, charming, heart rending and very well written. ( Spoilers! )

fic, doctor who, look what i did!, spoilers

Wow. That was amazing and wonderful. I like the changes in history you came up with, and the way the whole thing flows.

Oh, this was amazing. I, too, loved this line a lot: He watches them age, and die, and understands something about the Doctor that he didn't really want to. Beautiful, just ouchy and beautiful.

This was definitely very, very awesome. Well-written and in character and sweet, and I liked the way you skimmed over the 2000 years. And the differences in the starless world, and poor nurse Rory seeing the Plague, and wondering if he made it all up -- very nice!

Oh my. That was wonderful, and had some really beautiful lines, perfect in their simplicity. The first line is great; and He watches them age, and die, and understands something about the Doctor that he didn't really want to. is too, because I think that all the Doctor's companions become him in their own way, and I hadn't really thought about Rory in that way, yet, but now I will. Rory's a really interesting character to ponder because he's not full of destiny and purpose and specialness- everything he does is his own choice, and in showing how he makes his own choice and way across time, I think you've really gotten into his character here. :D

that means a lot, from you. i agree that all the companions become the doctor, but rory, ever since he's been amy's playmate, has sort of always been the doctor. at the same time, he's such his own person and i love him for it.
