Sleeping on couches in the common room together is illegal, so says a rule. Just thought certain people ought to know before someone who isn't as nice as I am docks points.

In other news, I'm still not scowling.

Since you seem to have memorised the prefect's handbook, you must be aware that it is also against the rules for a person of the opposite gender to enter one's dormitory, and that it is still more against the rules for a person of the opposite gender to spend the night in one's dormitory. And yet, I'm sure some people do that all the time.

Accidents happen -- while one might conceivably fall asleep on a sofa in the common room accidently, it is impossible to "accidently" spend the night in someone else's room.

All things considered, I think you're barking up the wrong tree -- shouldn't you be crusading to keep people from whoring around in their dormitories rather than reaming people for falling asleep in a public place, fully clothed?

If you're suggesting that I keep a girl in my room every night, you are sorely mistaken. And I would appreciate it if you would cease to talk about it because it is a very painful subject for me.

I was merely commenting that such a public disreguard for rules is unbecoming of a Head Boy and Girl.

I'm sorry to see that because you happen to be having a bad day the rest of us are at the mercy of your petty, petulant whims. It's very immature. If you want to complain about "low blows" I believe James has more right than you do -- after all, you're the one who is threatening to take points from your best friend for a compelte and completely innocent accident.

I'm not suggesting you keep a girl in your room, but surely you must be aware that it does happen frequently, in fact, I bet it happens frequently among members of your own circle of friends...

How odd, that we should agree on something!

'Whoring around' needs to be more strenuously discouraged.
