Wow, you get a lot for a teaser trailer. Nothing about the story or plot, but they showcase them doing some roof jumping and acrobatics and such. Snagged from snaketao

I'm glad they're going with a CGI movie instead of doing another live-action. It should be a lot more enjoyable. Although, through the first half of the teaser, I had my hopes up that they would do away with the colored head-bands, as it was in the comics.

Oh, did they do away w/ the colored headbands in the more recent runs of the comics? I remember way back in the day they all had red headbands.

I don't know. I don't read the comics anymore. I just remember reading the black and white issues and the colored issues with the all red headbands.

Ah, ok. I still have my copies of the 4 TMNT graphic novels that were (re?)released back when the old movies came out. And those comics are damn awesome. My favorite part was when the turtles were in a gladiator arena combat on an alien world against Triceratons (humanoid triceratops). And they fucking kicked ass.

I can't watch the trailer at work, but just the concept seems cool. AND it comes out on my birthday! Awesome! Unfortunately I think the only person I know in town who'd wanna go see it with me will have just turned 6. Rats.

I finally got to see the preview. It's so cool! And it sounds like they got Michaelangelo's voice pretty close to the cartoons. I bet I could rope the 6-year-old's dad into coming with us too. He's a closet turtle fan too.

Oh, god are they fucking mental? June 30? When Transformers comes out July 4? Don't studio execs even LOOK at a calendar anymore? It's bad competition-wise (Harry Potter is the week after TF) AND it's just a bad weekend in general. I bet they're going to move it.
