The line you ended this with is as perfect as how wordplay ended her Appropriate Visuals series with "and then they begin." Makes me tear up every damn time with it's perfection. This was totally like that.

I loved this story so much. I was a little leary of it at first, being a person who is not religous at all, but you did this in a way that was not uncomfortable at all. I felt it was a good way to blend two different opinions on the subject to make the relationship work. <3
