That single question rung out, a deep beckon from his position standing within his doorway, shoulder pressed to the jam, eyebrow raised as that deep golden gaze fixed pointedly to the secretary.
The deep voice made him jump and he spun around. His stomach turned when he recognized the man.
"Mr. Sanders! I...I actually had a few papers for you." He said quickly, playing with the hem of his hoodie, tugging it down over his dark jeans for the millionth time that day.
That eyebrow raised further, crossed arms unfolding slowly as he took a further step forward, withdrawing from the sanctuary of his dwelling and approaching the seemingly nervous young man.
"Well?" he urged, stopping a mere few inches away.
He took a few important papers from the pile in his hands and handed them to him. Hoping the much bigger man wouldn't remember him. They never met before so maybe Brendon will be lucky.
"T-There." He said, starting to to turn to walk away.
