Last week, my wife huntingospray and I visited the Lakeland Motor Museum. As well as full size cars and vehicles, there were some cabinets full of toy/model cars, and in one of them, I saw...this:
If Bessie or the Whomobile had been there I might have died. Although some of those classic cars are a yellow paint job away from being dead ringers for Bessie anyway!
I remember visiting the Lakeland Motor Museum as a kid back when it used to be at Holker Hall. If we ever manage to visit it again I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
Yes! It did rather catch the eye, probably for precisely that reason. I think it's the same thing as fans being hardwired to automatically pick out Target logos from a row of book spines. :o)
ETA: Mind if I Friend you? I've noticed you around on a few communities and friends' Flists, and we have a few interests in common. And of course I adore your Lemming Doctors - they're marvellous!
