A good day.
Today has been a good day. I had every intention of staying home, listening to the Pogues, and doing some work in my office. However, I have a package that I have been meaning to mail to Robert for several days, so I finally decided to come downtown and go to the post office.

Something that just introduces this whole project and then have the actual pruduction later, or the whole thing in conjunction with American Pirates?
Yes to the first part, no to the second. Not that I am opposed to working with American Pirates on the full production, but not as a "Radio Friendly Music by American Pirates" production. Do you know what I mean? I am simply too well aware of how possessive Aaron can get, and I am not going to let that happen with this script. For the initial project, it will be a collaboration because I am really trying to get some things "fleshed out," as it were. Later, it's got to be "my thing," so to speak...

No. I just plain keep forgetting... and I have really been concentrating more on this script. I have been doing quite a bit of reading on N'awlins, the Corps of Engineers, etc. And, if I am going to do this, I am going to need to do a lot more reading.
