I am seriously considering pitching this script and starting over. A few moments ago, I had the file open on Google Docs & Spreadsheets, and it looked like some foreign document that I had no hand in creating. Yeah, there are still plenty of ideas, and I am debating a number of things in my head. I have not given up hope---in fact, I am praying for that spark that will illuminate me and give me insight. The ideas about the knight-errant, the pilgrim in an unholy land, the secret agent behind enemy lines---all of these are variations on a theme, and steps toward the story I want to tell.
It is interesting that I just found the transcript of an IM conversation between Kelly and I from roughly 2-1/2 years ago, and it is full of good ideas---inspired as it was by the intoxication of spring and new love.
