feeding the body and mind

In the wake of the gluttony of Thanksgiving, I decided to fast this week.  I have cut out coffee, alcohol, tobacco, meat, sugar, and have eaten almost nothing but fresh fruit and vegetables, and I am drinking lots of tea and water.  And, let me tell you, I feel a lot better: I am sleeping better, have coughed only once since Sunday, have not had ( Read more... )

i admire your self-discipline! truly.

just googled for The Runcible Spoon. it opened up 2 years after i left bloomington for good. sounds like a place i'd have liked.

it seems like a good thing that you're enjoying thinking about holiness. when i think about it, i feel guilty and threatened. well, sometimes anyway.

Oh, I definitely think so. I know so many people who love that place, from way back.

it seems like a good thing that you're enjoying thinking about holiness.

I definitely feel that it is. I am not sure, at this point, obviously, where these thoughts will take me, or how they will develop, but I feel that I am learning something.
