What a great freakin' day!
Just a short update to say what a great day this has been. It started with tickets to see Tom Waits, and continued with a great wedding reception for my dear friend Lara Jeanne and her new husband Joseph, held at the palatial country estate of LJ's parents, out to the southwest of Bloomington

Good to see you too, my friend. And, there is no need for apology, we will see each other again before long. When I come up for the Tom Waits show, I plan on staying up in that area for a few days in order to do some other stuff with family and friends in "da Region". Maybe we can get together whilst I am up there.

I'm looking forward to that novel as well. But, at 992 pages (and knowing Pynchon, it will be a dense 992 pages), you could start reading it in December, and still not be done 'til next summer.
I have bookmarked Josh's website. Thank you. I received an e-mail from him yesterday, and I intend to make every effort to get to his show this weekend.
