Oh, things here are pretty much the same. I need a change of pace, new scenery, and I need to get out of my head and stop thinking about things I have no hope of changing (e.g., I keep thinking about Kelly, and the breakup, which is not a matter I have the smallest hope of improving, etc.). So, that said, I have decided to go down to New Orleans and take part in the cleanup effort. I have done some research on the group Common Ground and I like the work they are doing. I do not know exactly when I will be going (certainly not until after LJ's wedding), because there are some things I want and need to do here in B-ton before I go. For one thing, I want to find this fella I spoke to a while back who took two truckloads of supplies down to NO, and see if we can put something like that together again. Other than that, there is planning to be done. I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts, feeling, opinions, etc.

I've had to pass up 2 offers to go. I was gonna leave on the 12th. I'm really tempted to be involved in this go.
