Weird shit happens. People are lying to one another. There is plenty of gratuitous death and disappearance. There is also an electrical cloud monster that kills people. There is obviously a plot, but it is well hidden and obfuscated by layers and layers of unadulterated weird.
The people on the island are boned.
And there is an insane French woman who used to be a Minbari.
