Elfwine is a decent chess player unlike his father. Of course Eomer never tinkered with the pieces so they moved about on their own. I blame the Dol Amrothian genes in the boy. Although it is amusing to watch the knight and Queen try to strangle each other.

Kid takes after his mother's side. If there's any way to make a harmless inanimate object violent, a Dol Amrothian can do it. :)
